Diddy and J. Cole Laugh Off Beef Rumors
Back in August J. Cole and Diddy were rumored to have clashed during a VMAs after party but in actuality, it's all love between the two. Diddy's Revolt TV posted a video of Cole and the entertainment mogul joking around in what looks to be the backstage area at the iHeart Radio tour last month as proof that the beef was never real.
In the clip, Cole says he's launching a show on Revolt TV. "We gon' bring some smart s---, some different s--- to Revolt man," he announces.
Diddy is all for the idea, telling Cole, "I love it! I love it! Thank you, I need the help brotha," then pretends to punch the Roc Nation rapper in the stomach several times. Cole feigns defeat, joking that the faux bout is "a repeat," of the alleged squabble an unsubstantiated source claims jumped off between them at New York City's Dream Hotel after Diddy tried to poor a drink on Kendrick Lamar for calling himself the "King of New York."
As the story goes, Cole tried to intervene and a fight between crews erupted and Cole was escorted out by security. Regarding the incident Cole later tweeted, "People will believe anything."
No word on when his show airs on Revolt. The music network debuts next Monday (Oct. 21).
