A Tribe Called Quest Added to Yeezus Tour

Group joins select dates with Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar.

The Yeezus tour is shaping up to be precise, bass heavy and just right. Q-Tip, Phife Dawg and Ali Shaheed Muhammad — collectively known as A Tribe Called Quest — are slated to join Kanye West's latest jaunt and, according to Tip, it wil be the group's last curtain call.

"In August, ATCQ did our last show FOR Cali," Q-Tip tweeted, referencing their headlining performance at the H2O Festival in Los Angeles. "It's only right we do our FINAL 2 joints where we started...NYC."

The Tribe debuted in 1990 with their five-mic earning People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm. They released four more albums, including an arsenal of classic singles, before disbanding in 1998.

In recent years, they've reunited sporadically, headlining sold out shows and dabbling with the idea of putting out another album (reportedly the last one owed on their Jive Records contract) and reconvening for Tip's forthcoming The Last Zulu.

Now, it seems the only concrete plans for ATCQ are the plans for a farewell at Brooklyn's Barclay's Center (Nov. 20) and Manhattan's Madison Square Garden (Nov. 24).

The Yeezus tour is 'Ye's first solo trek since 2008's Glow in the Dark Tour with Rihanna, Nas, N.E.R.D. and Lupe Fiasco.

Kendrick Lamar and Pusha T, whose solo debut My Name Is My Name just moved nearly 75,000 in first week sales, will also hit the road with Yeezus for select dates.
