Chief Keef Gets Early Release from Jail

Chicago rapper earns return with good behavior.

Chief Keef was released from prison yesterday (Oct. 23), after serving nine days of a 20-day bid for failing a drug test while on probation, reports the Chicago Tribune. Upon his return, the Almighty So had this simple message for his social media followers: "I'm back b---h."

The rapper earned his way out of the Cook County jail via a good behavior incentive program, said a Cook County Sheriff's Office rep. Inmates serving for non-violent offenses are eligible for time "credit" a day reduced for each day of good conduct.

The judge who sentenced him gave him an additional day's credit for the day he turned himself in, Oct. 15.

Keef, born Keith Cozart, was taken into custody after testing positive for marijuana. He's currently on 18-months probation for speeding 110 mph in a BMW.
