50 Cent Pleads No Contest to Vandalism

G-unit mogul takes plea deal in domestic violence case.

50 Cent was sentenced to three years probation and 30 days of community service Monday (Oct. 28) for trashing an apartment over the summer, TMZ reports.

The Queens rapper plead no contest to a single misdemeanor vandalism charge after reaching an agreement with prosecutors to drop a misdemeanor domestic violence charge.

Fif reportedly caused $7,100 worth of damage and was facing quadruple counts of misdemeanor vandalism alongside the domestic violence charge for kicking in victim Daphne Joy's bedroom door in June, and destroying property inside her Toluca Lake, Calif. condo. As a result, a judge barred the SMS Audio frontman from coming near Joy — who is the mother of his second child — and ordered him to turn over his firearms.

The G-Unit leader's altercation with Joy came on the heels of several leaked text messages revealing a rift between 50 and his oldest son Marquise Jackson, 16. 50 disowned and reprimanded the teen in the messages, and later accused the boy’s mother of making the private messages public.
