With less than a week until The Marshall Mathers LP 2 dropping, Eminem graces the cover of Billboard magazine’s November issue, out next week.
A preview of the cover art released Thursday (Oct. 31) shows the Detroit MC standing behind a red background with the words, Marshall Law: The Making and Marketing of a Rap God’s Return across his chest.
Besides releasing three cuts, “Berzerk,” “Rap God” and “The Monster” featuring Rihanna, Em has been relatively tight-lipped about MMLP2.
Opening up to Rolling Stone recently, the 41-year-old said he's been working harder than he's "ever worked" and feels the pressure from naming the effort after The Marshall Mathers LP. “Obviously I knew that there might be certain expectations,” he said, adding that MMLP2 isn’t a follow-up in the traditional sense but will be more about the “vibe"” and nostalgia captured by its predecessor.
MMLP2 drops Nov. 5, with Em’s Billboard cover hitting stands Nov. 9.
