Kanye West Postpones Chicago Dates of Yeezus Tour

Two hometown shows rescheduled as tour continues to stall.

Kanye West has pushed back two more dates of his nationwide tour with Kendrick Lamar, reports Complex.com. This time, he's rescheduling his hometown shows, Nov. 7 and Nov. 9 at Chicago's United Center, leaving fans to speculate when Yeezus will return.

Last week, several dates of the Yeezus tour were postponed until December after a truck crashed carrying a 60-foot, custom-made LED screen "central to the staging," a rep from Def Jam revealed via a statement. The accident damaged the screen "beyond repair" and it is "impossible to put on the show" without it, the rep added.

The truck was en route to the tour stop in Vancouver, B.C. Shows in Anaheim, Denver and today's show in Minneapolis have also been rescheduled.

"Kanye West will not compromise on bringing the show, as it was originally envisioned and designed, to his fans," the statement also read.

The tour, 'Ye's first in five years, kicked off successfully Oct. 13 in Seattle with plans to hit at least 20 more cities. So far, he's brought a Jesus impersonator along with him, sold controversial merchandise and, in addition to Lamar, has tapped A Tribe Called Quest for a couple of the New York shows.

As of press time, the tickets are still available for purchase in Chicago and no announcement confirming or cancelling his Nov. 8 date in Columbus, Ohio, has been made.
