Breezy seeking damages in Frank Ocean parking-spot fight.
Brown, 24, filed an assault and battery suit against Ocean's cousin, Sha'Keir Duarte, Wednesday (Nov. 6), denying blame for the January incident. Instead, Brown says Duarte instigated things by kicking, punching and pushing him, leading up to the scuffle with Ocean.
Legal docs go on to call Duarte "aggressive and hostile," stating that Breezy, who is currently in rehab for anger management, attempted to avoid the altercation.
Duarte sued in August, alleging that he was beaten by Brown's bodyguard, and accuses the Virginia native of attempting to "publicly belittle Frank Ocean, and any recording artist or acts associated with him."
The run-in went down at a recording studio in West Hollywood, Calif., after Brown parked in Ocean's spot. Both parties reportedly exchanged words before the dispute got physical. Ocean, 26, hurt his hand during the fight, but chose "sanity" over pressing charges, explaining in a statement, "No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. Peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace."
As for Brown, he is seeking unspecified damages in the suit.
