Wale Threatens Complex Magazine Writers

MMG rapper spazzes over mag's 50 Best Albums of 2013 snub.

Wale just added himself to the list of rappers to go in on the media for dishonoring their work.

Mr. Folarin called up the team at Complex magazine Wednesday (Dec. 12) to express his displeasure with exclusion of his The Gifted LP from their 50 Best Albums of 2013 list. The website posted the recording of his heated conversation with writer Insanul Ahmed this morning.

The Maybach Music Group rapper charged the publication with having a personal vendetta against him. "At this point, you know it’s got to be personal," he can be heard saying. "You telling me it’s not personal? It's like a bold face lie. To be omitted from every type of list that y’all do or be at the bottom of it or every type of way that y’all can omit me, ya will.”

In arguing his case that he was intentionally snubbed Wale used Juicy J's position on the list as proof. Apparently he didn't see the Three 6 Mafia alum's Stay Trippy debut as worthy of recognition and yells, “You mean to tell me Juicy J album better than mine? Is that what you trying to tell me?"

He goes on to threaten to come to the office and start "knocking n----s out," before warning, "Alright. I'll see y'all tomorrow. Get the security ready."

As far as we know, Wale didn't follow through with the appointment but posted a hilarious video response on Instagram today.
