Lauryn Hill Extends Tour

Ms. Hill adds stops in Charlotte, Miami, Atlanta and more.

Lauryn Hill has a gift for fans, just in time for the Christmas holiday.

Hill is extending her Homecoming tour to include stops in Charlotte, Atlanta, and Miami beginning Feb. 11, in addition to Floyd, Va., where she will perform at the FloydFest on July 24.

According to her Tumblr page, the mother of six is also rescheduling previously billed shows in Huntington and Port Chester, N.Y., as well as Red Bank, N.J. All three dates have been pushed into the new year, kicking off with the Huntington show on Jan. 26.

Hill, 38, launched her post-prison jaunt at New York City's Bowery Ballroom in late November. She served three months in prison this year for tax evasion, and continued to promote her music from behind bars, releasing the song "Consumerism" days before she was freed. The New Jersey native is also working on her first solo studio effort in more than a decade to comply with a record deal she signed with Sony in attempts to pay off the outstanding tax debt.

Following her October release, a judge delayed Hill's house arrest, granting her time to tour from Nov. 15 to Dec. 1. She was sentenced to three months of home confinement to begin on New Year's Day. It is unclear if she has been given an additional extension.
