Lil Za Arrested for Drug Possession at Justin Bieber's House

Raid over egg attack results in cocaine bust.

Lil Za was arrested at Justin Bieber's house for felony cocaine possession Tuesday (Jan. 14), not long after authorities raided the location, TMZ reports.

Lt. Dave Thompson of the L.A. County Sherriff's department confirmed the news at a press conference minutes later.

Za, 19, was carted out of Bieber's Calabasas, Calif., home on live television in the latest chapter of an investigation triggered by an alleged egg-throwing incident involving the Canadian crooner last week. Sources close to the investigation say the drugs were in "plain view" when cops arrived.

Bieber was inside and spoke with authorities, and had no involvement in the drug bust, Thompson said.

A dozen officers swarmed the "Heartbreaker" singer's house this morning in search of evidence tying him to the reported $20,000 worth of egg damage on the neighbor's home. TMZ posted video from the attack where a voice, which sounds a lot like Bieber's, yells "F--- you! I have another one for you, actually!" before pelting the house with more dairy.

Za, who is the cousin of Bieber's roommate, Lil Twist, was one of eight people inside the teen's mansion today. Bieber's security team was said to be cooperating with authorities. "I get that the eggs don't seem that significant," Thompson told reporters this afternoon.

Given the amount of damage to the neighbor's property, authorities obtained a felony search warrant for Bieber's estate and will review the 19-year-old pop star's home surveillance footage to possibly implicate him. "A felony crime is a felony crime, no matter how you commit it," Thompson pointed out. "This could be Mr. Bieber, this could be you, this could be me."

Bieber has had more than a few clashes with his neighbors in the past. For now, he is only a suspect in the egg investigation.
