Patience is a virtue that just paid off for Kid Cudi fans.

Cudi announced on Twitter today that his Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon EP has been upgraded to a full release. "Satellite Flight is an album now :) thats what u get for being so patient w me," he tweeted. "Ur gonna love it. Ur gonna love it.  Ur gonna f---ing LOVE!"

A separate tweet re-confirmed the album for February.

Satellite Flight was first teased last year as a precursor to his Man on The Moon 3 release. The Wicked Awesome labelhead dropped the EP's title track in December, and at an October show in Dallas he told the crowd, "When I give you the release date, it will be 24 hours before it's released. You won't know when it's going to happen."

He also said that the project was "definitely going to happen in the next three months," so it looks like Cudi stayed on schedule.

No word yet on Satellite Flight's exact debut date.
