Future, Chance the Rapper Billed for SXSW
Future and Chance the Rapper are heading to SXSW next month, RollingStone.com reports.
Both add to a diverse lineup of performers across different genres. In the rap department, they join a billing alongside Tech N9ne, Madlib, ScHoolboy Q and Ab-Soul.
The schedule also features a screening of the Jimi Hendrix biopic Jimi: All Is By My Side, starring Andre 3000, and an A$AP Rocky documentary, according to Billboard.
Now in it's 17th year, the interactive, film and music festival brings in thousands of attendees every March, earning Austin millions in revenue, more than any other event in the Texas city. Its growth in foot traffic and popularity has also landed music juggernauts like Kanye West, Jay Z and Justin Timberlake in past years.
This year's SXSW festival will be held March 11-16.
Future is currently prepping the release of his Honest LP and will likely perform cuts from the project. Chance is scheduled to headline the City of Chicago Showcase Tuesday, March 11 from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
