DMX may not be participating in a certain "celebrity" boxing match, but he's making a Rocky-like comeback nonetheless. He announced Tuesday (Feb. 25) that he's embarking on a Southern tour, with a focus on Texas.
The seven-city tour of the Lone Star State will kick off March 6 in Abilene before swinging through Houston (March 7), San Antonio (March 8) and eventually finishing up in Dallas on March 12.
X will round it out with a couple non-Texas gigs, including one in Charlotte, N.C. this Friday (Feb. 28) and one in New Orleans, March 13.
After ending 2013 with a string of arrests, including one for DUI and driving on a suspended license, DMX has gotten his passport and driver's license back and recently played a string of shows overseas, marking the first time the Yonkers MC has been out of the country in eight years.

Meanwhile, X is also planning a return to the booth. In November, Swizz Beatz told MTV that one of his main priorities is X's return. "Everything is DMX for me right now," he said.
