50 Cent Wants to Collaborate With Drake and Rihanna

"They're artists that do things I don't do," Fif explained.

A new deal, a new album, a new 50 Cent? The G-Unit boss is preparing to release his fifth album, Animal Ambition: An Untamed Desire to Win, and he's looking to add a few new collaborations to his extensive resume.

"I haven't worked with Drake or Rihanna, and I'd like to work with them," 50 told SiriusXM's Shade 45 at a special Town Hall interview, which aired Monday (March 31). "They're artists that do things I don't do. It's a different thing. So we have to find the right song for us to be working on with each other," he said.

Fif is known for his versatility, transitioning with ease from "gangsta rapper" on tracks like "I Still Kill" to smooth "thug lover" on "Ayo Technology." But the veteran knows his lane. "I don't think anyone can beat Drake at creating relationship-based content," Fif said.

Drake may hold it down for male artists, but when it comes to female solo artists, 50 said the industry is limited. "I think there is a shortage of female solo artists," he said. "It's Beyoncé, Rihanna, and those other people. That's the way the s--t starting to feel to me."

50 already worked with Beyoncé back in her Destiny’s Child’s days, but was doubtful about another Queen Bey/G-Unit collabo. "Hell no, man. Jay is gonna be like, 'No, no, why would you do that?'" 50 joked. "We had a song a long time ago: 'Thug Love,' that was like in '98. That's cool we got that tape. If we don't ever do it again, we got that."

Meanwhile, Trey Songz, JadakissStyles P, Yo Gotti, Mobb Deep and others are featured on his new LP, slated for release June 3.
