Roc Nation MC says the entertainment industry is run by the CIA.
If there's one thing to know about Jay Electronica it's that he doesn't shy away from a good old-fashioned Twitter rant. Electronica unloaded his latest inner monologue Friday (April 4), calling out fake "thugs," wannabe "goons" and George Zimmerman.
Faux thuggery caught the first of his jabs. "I don't respect no so-called thug that will kill his brother for little or nothing but submit to these crooked a-- police," tweeted the New Orleans MC. "your gun don't really go off. only against your own brother who is in the mud like you. Coward."
Zimmerman got the next hit. Electronica questioned why the same "thugs" and "goons" that kill one another "walk past george zimmerman everyday" and do nothing. Zimmerman was acquitted of murdering Trayvon Martin last summer, and hasn't been met with any lethal retalitory attacks. The state of Zimmerman’s post-acquittal experience led Electronica to wonder, "Why he ain't get his head bust yet?"
He also went at what he sees as misplaced priorities. "whats sad is pp will fight or oppose you if you dabble in this kind of talk.. but they won't fight the school for teaching the babies lies," he wrote. "they won't fight the banks for stealing their homes or the fda for approving poison to be fed to the ppl."
The tirade winds down with Electronica calling out rappers for abandoning their "inner constitution for turn up kits and social networking hype," and concluded that the entertainment industry is run by the government. "I'm starting to think some of these ppl are f---ing CIA, he wrote."these artists bloggers journalists label execs radio programmers are acting like fucking CIA operatives. What is your purpose?"
Although the last question was rhetorical, Electronica threw in the disclaimer: "and if this doesn't apply to you then it doesn't apply. shut the f--- up."
