Report: Twyla Betha Filed for Separation From Ma$e

More details emerge in the rapper/pastor's possible divorce.

Apparently the desire for a divorce — or at least a separation — was two-sided in the Betha household, earlier this year.

According to TMZ, just one day after Ma$e filed for a divorce from his wife, Twyla Betha, in January, she filed filed for a separation.

The Mrs. submitted her paperwork in San Diego, claiming that the couple has been apart since May 2012, more than a year longer than what her rapper/pastor husband claimed on the paperwork he filed in Atlanta — that they've been separated since August 2013.

In the Atlanta papers, Ma$e cited irreconcilable differences and declared that he wants full custody of their two children plus child support. Meanwhile, Twyla, also a pastor, is seeking child and spousal support.

Also in the Atlanta files, just a month after Ma$e put in for a divorce, he submitted for a dismissal of his petition.

As of press time, the two are still very much publicly committed and continue to promote their marriage via their church, the El Elyon International Church in Atlanta.
