Dondria, Day26's Brian Angel Headline Music Matters Showcase

R&B singers to take the stage at the first spring set.

Leaves are coming back, flowers are blooming, and like the weather outside, BET Music Matters is turning up the heat with seductive singer Brian Angel.

The former Day26 crooner will give the audience a preview of his solo sound, which he says is similar to '90s R&B, as he performs hits like his Dorrough Music-assisted single "Killa" as the co- headliner for the first spring Music Matters showcase, Tuesday (April 8).

Joining Angel in New York City at S.O.B.'s will be Dondria, who went from YouTube sensation to SoSo Def recording artist. The "You're the One" songstress will look to show the Big Apple what all the hype is about with her buzzed about live show.

Also taking the stage is Miami-born beauty Sade Serena, who is quickly establishing herself as an artist to be on the lookout for in 2014, as well as Tiffany Stevenson and Livre.

Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and host Buttahman will kick things off at 8:00 p.m. along with DJ Lyve, who will be doing his thing behind the turntables.

It's a free show, early arrival is recommended as space is limited and don't forget to bring I.D. because it is 21 and over. Use the hashtag #mmshowcase to stay connected.
