Ying Yang Twins' D-Roc Jailed for Beating His Wife

Atlanta native spends a day locked up, pleads no contest to attacking his better half last November.

Ying Yang Twins member De'Angelo "D-Roc" Holmes served a very short sentence for allegedly beating his wife, Porsche. According to TMZ, the Atlanta-born recording artist only spent 24 hours behind bars as punishment for the 2013 attack.

The quickie jail trip is thanks to a plea deal. Holmes pleaded no contest to domestic violence and was sentenced to the day-long jail term and a year of probation. He must complete community service and attend a family violence course as well, and has been cautioned to abstain from drinking, drugs and being violent towards his wife.

Holmes was arrested after he reportedly punched Porsche in the head last last November. He was charged with two counts of simple battery and "family violence." Not long before the altercation, Holmes won a judgment to have his child support lowered.

A year prior to the court victory, he was pulled over and subsequently arrested on DUI and child endangerment charges for driving intoxicated with his two young children in the car.
