Kendrick Lamar, Drake to Perform at iHeartRadio Music Awards
Kendrick Lamar and Drake are among those on deck to perform at the first-ever iHeart Radio Music Awards, scheduled for May 1 in Los Angeles, NBC announced via Twitter.
The two threw slight jabs at each other last year, and Drizzy is in the midst of some Jay-baiting, so hip hop heads will have their ears perked for sure.
Also slated to play the inaugural ceremony: Pharrell (and possibly the latest incarnation of his hat), Pitbull, Shakira, Blake Shelton and L.A.-based rock band 30 Seconds to Mars.
In between the sets, awards will be handed out in such categories as Best Collaboration, Best Lyrics, and Song of the Year. (Drake is up for his "Hold On We're Going Home" featuring Majid Jordan.) The winners will be determined by the listening audience. Fans can cast their votes now via Twitter, Facebook or the dedicated site, iheartradio.com/awards.
