The-Dream Wanted in New York for Domestic Dispute

Producer faces questioning for allegedly punching, kicking and strangling his then-pregnant girlfriend Lydia Nam.

The NYPD wants The-Dream to come in for questioning about an alleged attack on ex-girlfriend Lydia Nam.

According to TMZ, the two got into such a heated argument around this time in April of last year that The-Dream couldn't keep his hands or feet to himself. Nam accuses him of punching, kicking and strangling her, and what's worse, she was six months pregnant with his child at the time.

Nam didn't file a report until November 2013, a law enforcement source told the site. Its unclear now if she sought or needed medical attention after the incident, which occurred at The Plaza, a hotel on Fifth Avenue.

And it wasn't the only time. A couple months later, in June, in Newport Beach, Calif., Dream was arrested for domestic violence after another fight with Nam. She refused to press charges then. The D.A. dropped the case.

About the more recent fight, sources close to Dream told TMZ that he insists that Nam is lying and that she, a Canadian, may be using these allegations as a way to extend her visa in the U.S.
