Tyga, Lil Durk Trade Barbs Over 'Chi-raq' Beat

Rappers use Nicki Minaj track to diss each other.

Nicki Minaj's "Chi-raq" has taken on a life of its own. The blistering track was released less than a month ago, and is now the battle ground for a budding beef between Tyga and Lil Durk.

The clash started after Durk flirtatiously mentioned Tyga's girlfriend in a verse, and wouldn't change the line. Then a collaboration between the two fell through because Tyga stopped responding to Durk's text messages. So, the Chicago native addressed him over Meek Mill's "Chi-raq" remix. "Heard Tyga sneak dissin' on me, tell them that b----s I'm not right/ Tyga only got one name, but that n---a ain't got one stripe," Durk spits. "He backpack, so easy to get that n----'s s--- snatched/ Ask Marly Marl to give his s--- back."

Durk has already said that his beef with Tyga isn't really real, however, telling XXL, "I wouldn't call it no beef, I just let him know," regarding the lyric.

Tyga still hit back, though. On Instagram Sunday (May 4) he previewed his own "Chi-raq" freestyle and subsequent response to Durk. The YMCMB rapper begins by boasting about his gang affiliates, "Down to ride for a homicide," then goes at the Durk directly rapping, "Who the f--- is Lil Durk?/ I'll dust you like ash and purp/ Yo' flow wack, my flow crack/ I'm marble floors, your floors crack."

Durk fired back on Twitter with a line from his "Chi-raq" verse, "Everytime a n---a rap beef he get clapped up in a couple weeks in comments and a couple tweets Location on we can go and meet #chiraq."

Over the last couple of years, two aspiring rappers, Joseph "Lil JoJo" Coleman and Marc "Lil Marc" Campbell, have been gunned down after dissing Durk and his OTF crew. Durk has not been named in connection with the murders.
