"The Monster" MC will bring OFWGKTA for his historic Wembley Stadium show.
Odd Future will join in Eminem's historic performances at London's Wembley Stadium this summer, reports Complex. The Loiter Squad is set to open for the Em July 11 and July 12, as he becomes the first rap act to headline the venue.
"Me and Earl Sweatshirt and the rest of Odd Future are gonna be with Marshall in London on two shows before he goes on," Tyler the Creator says in an Instagram video posted to his account Thursday (May 15). He then pans over to Earl Sweatshirt, who pretends that he won't be making the trip across the pond. "I'm not there. I got business," he jokes.
When it comes to OFWGKTA, Em is a longtime fan. He spoke to their talents back in 2011, before he was completely familiar with their music. "I haven't heard a lot from them, I still have to go check out everything that they’re doing, but I've heard enough to know that it feels like they’re pushing boundaries and buttons, and that's definitely one of the things that I'm familiar with, especially when I first came out," the "Monster" MC told MTV News.
The upcoming Wembley shows won't be Em's first time working with Odd Future. Tyler opened for him in the U.K. last August.
