Fired officer says MMG rapper damaged his reputation and his sex life.
An officer involved in Meek Mill's failed lawsuit against the city of Philadelphia has turned the tables on the MMG rapper. The unnamed, and now, fired, cop is suing Meek for allegedly ruining his reputation, and sex life, TMZ reports.
Meek, born Robert Rahmeek Williams, and his entourage were pulled over on a traffic stop that turned into a 10-hour detainment, in October 2012. Authorities claimed they smelled marijuana in the vehicle, although no drugs were found. Meek argued that officers racially profiled the group, which included an executive from his record label, in addition to causing him to miss a paid appearance. He sued for more than $400,000.
After losing his case against the city the 25-year-old said that he respected the jury's decision but wasn't surprised. "They ain't from where I'm from," he stated. "I [don't] really expect them to understand what I go through."
The cop suing Meek was let go for reasons unrelated to the case, he hasn't worked in a year. He claims Meek's interviews damaged his name and says the legal bout "had a strong affect on my relationship performance with my fiancée." He is suing for $750,000 in damages.
Meek hasn't publicly addressed the lawsuit.
