Justin Bieber Sued Over 2013 Car Accident

Walter Damon Lee claims he sustained severe injuries during Ferrari crash on the Sunset Strip.

A June 2013 car accident during which Justin Bieber hit a pedestrian is the focus of a new lawsuit against the pop star, Billboard reports.

Walter Damon Lee filed the suit Wednesday (June 25) claiming that the 20-year-old crooner hit him with his Ferrari as he was leaving the Laugh Factory on the Sunset strip in West Hollywood, Calif. Bieber and Lil Twist were trying to get away from a crush of paparazzi.

Lee was walking down the strip at the time and accuses the teen heartthrob of "negligently, carelessly, recklessly, wantonly and unlawfully" causing him injuries from which he may not recover. He claims to have suffered deep abrasions in his left leg and lacerations, hematomas, and deep venous thrombosis (which is a blood clot) in his calf. As a result, he will need continuous medical treatment and has suffered "a loss of earning capacity," legal documents obtained by TMZ state.

Bieber hasn't responded to the suit. Authorities cleared him of any wrongdoing after the crash.

The "Confident" singer was involved in another car accident this past Tuesday but was not the driver.
