'Cat Daddy' Rapper Faces Three Felonies for Nightclub Theft

Jovan Clayton of The Rej3ctz pleads not guilty to charges stemming from alleged incident in West Hollywood, Calif.

Jovan "Pee Wee" Clayton, member of rap trio The Rej3ctz and best known for the 2010 single "Cat Daddy," has been slapped with three felonies stemming from a nightclub incident in April, TMZ reports.

Clayton was arrested three months ago for allegedly jacking more than $2,000 worth of stuff from 1Oak nightclub in West Hollywood, Calif. The stolen property included a cellphone, belongings from someone's purse and other "personal items." Clayton was briefly held and released on $20,000 bail.

Immediately after getting out of custody, Clayton started brushing his teeth and broke into a dance routine in front of TMZ cameras. "They said I stole somebody's phone, I only had one phone. You feel me?" he told TMZ while applying toothpaste to his toothbrush in the parking lot of the facility. "I don't need to steal nothing from nobody," he added.

Clayton has pleaded not guilty to the triple felony charges.
