Meek Mill Shares Dreams Worth More Than Money Release Date

MMG rapper's sophomore album arrives this September; Nas, Big Sean, A$AP Ferg, Jay Z, and Pharrell slated for the guest list.

Meek Mill's long-awaited sophomore album, Dreams Worth More Than Money, is nearing its release date. The 27-year-old Philly rapper revealed on Twitter Monday (July 7) that the project will arrive September 9.

In an interview with Miss Info during the BET Awards weekend last month, Meek shared how his new music is "different" from his previous work. "My last project I was 25. I was kinda caught up," explained Meek. "I [had] just started making millions of dollars, rap wasn't even like my main focus. I was focused on trying to get my family out the streets and having a lot of money…now it's fully back to being an artist."

With two years in between his Dreams and Nightmares debut and the forthcoming effort, Meek's looking to introduce something new to the game. "I'm just looking for that next sound in hip hop and nobody ain't looking for that next sound. Everybody doing the same methods sometimes…I'm looking for a brand new sound to take and bounce around for a year or two," he said.

The MMG artist has been previewing music from the album online recently, and released a music video for the single "I Don't Know," featuring Paloma Ford, back in May. According to Meek, names on the DWMTM guest list include Big Sean, A$AP Ferg, Pharrell, Nas and Jay Z
