The R&B singer lands his second No. 1 album on Billboard.
Congratulations are in order for Trey Songz, who has scored his second consecutive No. 1 album with Trigga, released last Tuesday. This marked the crooner's sixth album, and debuted with 105,000 units sold.
After Songz's lead single "Na Na" took off, there was virtually no stopping the singer, who flexed his vocal chops throughout the BET Experience at L.A. Live, performing on 106 & Park during the BET Awards alongside August Alsina and Chris Brown and in the final concert at the Staples Center wrapping up the weekend.
When he sat down with BET.com in L.A., he said that he believes that Trigga is his best album yet and, based on the album's performance on the charts thus far, fans and critics agree.
Rounding out this week's Top 10 albums is Robin Thicke in the No. 9 spot with his most recent effort, Paula, which only sold 24,000 copies compared to his 2013 No. 1 album, Blurred Lines, which sold 177,000 the week of release.
