Lil Twist Avoids Prosecution in DUI Case

Young Money rapper's intoxication level was not high enough for impairment, blood work showed.

Although he failed his field sobriety test, Lil Twist just wasn't high enough to be prosecuted for driving under the influence.

Twist was arrested earlier this month for doing 89 in a 30mph zone in a Calabasas, Calif., neighborhood. He admitted to smoking marijuana and wasn't able to touch his nose, walk in a straight line or stand on one leg. Officers even noted that his eyes were rolling. But that was only "moderately bad" according to his field sobriety test.

By the time the blood sample was taken (nearly two hours), it was determined that the senior criminologist wouldn't be able to argue that he was impaired to drive, so the D.A. rejected the case, TMZ reports.

Twist did get slapped with three tickets, however, for speeding, failling to stop at a red light and posession of less than 1 oz of weed.

Now, he can get back to rebuilding his reputation.
