Nicki Minaj Drops a Verse on 'No Flex Zone' Remix
Nicki Minaj may have gotten a little emotional and even a little nostalgic on “Pills N Potions,” the first official single off her highly anticipated third album, The Pink Print, but she's not wasting time crying over a broken heart. The appointed “King of Female Rap” just dropped another teaser for fans with her unofficial remix of the Rae Sremmurd’s Mike WiLL Made It-produced "No Flex Zone."
From the gate, Nicki comes with her gully New York flow, similar to her "Yass Bissh" or "Chiraq" tracks, "Running this game for five years, guess that's why my feet hurt / Wonder when they bite me, do these b---es teeth hurt? / Yes, I am an icon, that's me on your T-shirt/ Thought you knew better, do your f--kin' research."
Apparently, the Head Barbie in Charge just wanted to drop a freestyle "for the f-q of it." Moments before releasing her verse she tweeted, "#NickiFreestyle 30 mins away just 4 da f-q of it http://instagram.com/p/qexLSiL8QE/."
It seems like the five-time BET Award winner for Best Female Hip Hop Artist can't be stopped. Fans took so well to the verse Nicki almost instantly began trending on social media platforms from New York to London. If that wasn't enough, just hours prior to her dropping the venomous verse, Harlem rapper Cam’Ron released a re-vamped Nicki-enhanced version of his 2012 song "So Bad."
The official "No Flex Zone" remix is set to drop soon and will feature Nicki's verse as well as a cameo from Pusha T.
