Bey addresses infamous elevator incident on new track.
Beyoncé dropped some ear candy on her fans over the weekend, finally releasing the remix of her track "Flawless" featuring Nicki Minaj. The long-awaited collaboration certainly lived up to expectations, with Yoncé even addressing the infamous elevator incident between herself, husband Jay Z and sister Solange Knowles that dominated headlines earlier this summer.
"Of course sometimes s--t go down when there's a billion dollars on the elevator," Bey says on the verse.
She also reinforces the key relationships in her life with the lines, "Momma taught me some home training / Daddy showed me how to love my haters / Sister told me how to speak my mind / My man makes me feel so godd--n fine."
All ths before Nicki Minaj hops on the track with her firespitting verse. "Winning is my motherf----n' protocol / 'Cuz I score before I ever throw the ball," she raps.
This is the first collaboration between Beyoncé and Nicki, and from the way fans are reacting to it, hopefully not the last.
