Wiz Khalifa may have snuck in a selfie, but the City of El Paso authorities aren't letting him get away with skipping his court date.

A warrant has been issued for the "Promises" rapper's arrest.

He was due in court Wednesday (Aug. 6) after getting nabbed for having 0.5 grams of marijuana on him at the El Paso International Airport (ELP) this past Memorial Day weekend. He broke the news himself via Twitter, when he snapped a "jail selfie," inadvertently launching an investigation. "I hope nobody got in trouble," he said.

Wiz, now more popularly known as Bash's Dad, is currently on his Under the Influence of Music tour and working on balancing that with being a new father. "It's very difficult," he told the 106 & Park audience. "It's very, very difficult."

His new album, Blacc Hollywood, is set for release Aug. 19.
