Unlike Method Man, who called the Rice video "disgusting" and that "anybody [who] puts their hands on a woman needs they a-- kicked," Malone wants athletes to rally behind the former Baltimore Ravens running back. "NFL players need to stand up for Ray Rice," tweeted Malone. "The world is so p---- these days…."
He also wrote, “Nothing worse than a feminist,” followed by “Slapping the dog s--- out of a ‘disrespectful’ woman might save her life.”
According to the West Coaster, “People need to know the difference between abuse & an ALTERCATION..” when it comes to the Rice recording. The 27-year-old was fired from the Ravens and suspended indefinitely by the league after TMZ ran extended footage of a fight for which Rice and his now wife, Janay Palmer, have both taken responsibility. The new recording shows Rice spitting on Palmer, who spits back and attempts to swing at him, before he hits her once and she falls to the ground. He then drags her unconscious body outside of the elevator, and tries to prop her up against a wall.
Meanwhile, Malone’s Twitter discourse was his way of opening a “verbal discussion on the subject,” so as to offer a different side to the story. “If facts prevail I’m 100% sure I’ll change your mind.”
