Kanye West Orders Fan in Wheelchair to Stand Up at Concert

Rapper has an awkward moment with concertgoer in Australia.

Kanye West put his foot in his mouth at his concert in Australia over the weekend. The temperamental rapper called out two fans during his show in Sydney on Friday for not standing up and dancing, not realizing one was in a wheelchair and the other had a prosthetic limb.
It all started when West stopped the concert and asked everyone in attendance to stand for the next song "unless you got a handicap pass where you get special parking and s--t," he told the crowd. Claiming he'd be able to spot anyone in the crowd who remained seated, West singled out the two fans and got the whole crowd chanting for them to stand.
"This is the longest I've had to wait to do the song — it's unbelievable," West lamented while a member of his security detail approached the seated concertgoers. Finally, upon confirming that the fans were, indeed, disabled, West agreed to continue his set.
Next time, maybe Yeezus will consider a different approach to crowd motivation.
