Pharrell Williams Premieres 'It Girl' Video in Times Square

Skateboard P takes over Sony's billboard in NYC.

Lunch in New York will be popping today. At noon, Tuesday (Sept. 30), Pharrell Williams is dropping his new video, "It Girl," on a big screen in the heart of the city.

A tease for the anime-inspired visuals appeared on NBC's Today show earlier this morning featuring an animated version of Skateboard P, directed by Mr. and produced by Takashi Murakami.

And yes, even illustrated P dons the hat.

The entire clip will launch on Sony's billboard in Times Square. The special viewing will repeat three to four times within the hour and will be available online via VEVO.com.

"It Girl" is P's fourth offering from his G I R L album, his first solo effort in eight years. His lead single "Happy" is an international phenomenon, selling more than 10 million copies and accompanied by the world's fist 24-hour music video.

He followed up with the singles "Marilyn Monroe" and "Come Get It Bae."

Although all of his promotional songs so far have been solo efforts, G I R L features Justin Timberlake and Alicia Keys, who will join him this season as he coaches on The Voice.
