A$AP Rocky Fires Back at Concertgoer’s Lawsuit
ASAP Rocky denies slapping a female fan who is suing for an incident at the Made in America music festival last year, TMZ reports. Lisamarie Wade’s $75,000 lawsuit claims the Harlem native slapped her at the Philly concert, causing her to fall to the ground.
She initially filed a criminal complaint against Rocky, although she had trouble serving him with the paperwork. “There's no excuse for a man to ever hit a female,” she said. “I want to make sure that he gets prosecuted.”
Rocky wants the suit thrown out. In his response, the 25-year-old rapper says he never laid a hand on Wade, nor did anyone in his entourage. He goes on to imply that she was among a mob of fans who “aggressively moved towards” him. Rocky's defense is that if Wade was injured it was more than likely by fans, and that she was well aware of the risks of being in the crowd.
Wade claims the injuries she sustained have obstructed her ability to "enjoy society with her minor child as a young, single mother."
