The Warm Up: Tyga Cancels Appearance Because of Kylie Jenner

Keeping you informed of the latest news in music, celeb and pop culture.

Face it, we're all culture vultures in one way or another, so it's only right that BET.com brings you #TheWarmUp on the daily tip. And remember that keeping it buck doesn't mean that shade is being thrown. (Word to Nicki.) We just like to keep it honest and real when it comes to our extended family. Read on for the hottest, most shocking moments of the past 24 hours.
— If Tyga is trying to convince us that he and Kylie Jenner don't have a (*cues music*) "thiiiiiing going o-o-onnnnn" then he's failed miserably. According to the Bible of celebrity gossip, TMZ, the Cali rapper "begged and pleaded" with promoters at Greystone Manor in L.A. to let 17-year-old Kylie in the club with him. Once they refused, he cancelled his appearance. Uhh... so, besides the fact that it's looking more and more like these two are an item, Tyga... she's not legal, so to be surprised seems a bit off.
— And just ahead of the release of the Platinum Edition of Beyoncé, Mrs. Carter has released a snippet to the new song, "7/11." Check it out here and let us know what you think!
— The other night in Chicago, R&B royalty got together in the best way possible on Usher's The UR Experience tour. Besides the fact that August Alsina has been on the road with Ursh, he brought out Trey Songz who has history with Alsina and who joined Usher on tour about four years ago. The R&B trifecta performed August's "I Luv This" together and Trigga told the audience that touring with Usher changed his life. A great moment for music, and an even better moment for our eyes.

Nicki Minaj is readying the release of The PinkPrint and is Complex magazine's latest cover girl. In the article titled "The Real Her," she dives into her music, evolution and self-acceptance. Read more about hip hop's number-one lady here

— After being inspired by the duets between Natalie Cole and her late father, Nat "King" Cole, R&B songstress Faith Evans has revealed that she's working on a joint project titled The King and I with her late husband, The Notorious B.I.G. She confirmed that it's unheard music and that it should be out at some point next year.
— If you love Rick Ross as much as we do and can't wait until next week to hear his new album, Hood Billionaire, then you should definitely get into the stream of the soon to be released album, featuring Jay Z, K. Michelle, Big K.R.I.T. and more, right here!
— Congrats to Solange and her new hubby, Alan Ferguson, who wed Sunday in New Orleans. The youngest Knowles did things her way with style, grace, elegance and a unique flair that reflected a lot of New Orleans's influence on her life. Here's to a happy and healthy life ahead of the new couple!
J. Cole has been quiet for most of the year, but he intends on ending 2014 on a high note. Last night the rapper revealed that he will release his new album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, on Dec. 9. Peep the short film that the Dreamville head honcho made here
— The Aaliyah biopic happened this past weekend and despite ratings, it was a huge disappointment to fans and music lovers everywhere. With no original music by the songstress cleared for the film and flimsy ideas about what really happened during her life musically and with old flames, it was a disappointing and slightly disrespectful representation of her life. We continue to send well wishes and prayers to her family and loved ones at this time.
