Azealia Banks Calls Out Iggy Azalea for Lack of Response to ‘Black Issues’

Outspoken hip hop star wonders why “Fancy” rapper hasn’t weighed in on controversy over Eric Garner and Michael Brown deaths.

Azealia Banks has thrown down the gauntlet against Iggy Azalea, calling the Aussie rapper out for her silence on the grand jury verdicts in the Michael Brown and Eric Garner cases.
The provocative singer/rapper tweeted, "its funny to see people Like Igloo Australia silent when these things happen... Black Culture is cool, but black issues sure aren't huh?" She continued,
"If you're down to ride with us b**** you gotta RIDE ALL THE WAY."
Banks also brought Nicki Minaj into the beef, tweeting, "And the media needs to STOP trying to move igloo in on what Nicki has established. Nicki is a hard-working rap-BEAST. stop trying to degrade and BELITTLE Our culture with this f****** kkk iggy shit." It should be noted that as of Wednesday evening, Minaj had not spoken out about the Eric Garner decision, either.
The Harlem rapper also hilariously called out T.I. for his history of defending Azalea. "AND I DARE THAT SHOE-SHINING COON T.I TO SAY SOMETHING," she wrote in conclusion to her rant.
Prior to taking aim at the "Fancy" rapper, Banks vented her frustrations about the Eric Garner decision like millions of others on social media. She encouraged students to learn more about Black history and asked, "why does this country want us to hate ourselves so much?"
