Report: Jeremih Arrested for Illegally Boarding Plane

Singer and entourage nabbed for opening door to flight set for takeoff.

Jeremih learned the hard way that you don't mess with the FAA. The R&B singer was arrested at Newark Airport in New Jersey for sneaking onto a plane after missing the final boarding call, the New York Daily News reports.
The "Don't Tell 'Em" singer and another musician, Adam Woods, had passed through security but didn't make it on board their flight from New Jersey to Phoenix, officials say. Other members of his entourage were already on the plane. Jeremih then reached out to his bouncer Dontate Cunningham, who opened the plane’s rear door — which was already closed for takeoff — for them.

Port Authority police were called and took all three men into custody. Jeremih and Woods were charged with obstruction of the administration of law and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors. Cunningham was charged with defiant trespass, officials said. The three remained in Port Authority custody Friday evening but were expected to be released with desk appearance tickets.
Jeremih had a concert in New York City and was on his way to perform with Wiz Khalifa, T-Pain and Baby Bash in Fresno, Calif., when he was arrested.
