Azealia Banks and Action Bronson Go at It Again

The rappers' Twitter beef escalates over an apology.

The week of Dec. 19 saw hip hop newcomer Azealia Banks make headlines for her public beefs, with one of the most notable involving rapper Action Bronson, who, Banks revealed this week, has been trying to apologize to her indirectly.

During an interview with HOT 97's Ebro, Banks spoke on her disapproval of Iggy Azalea and the cultural smudging of hip hop culture by white rappers. After the interview went viral, several artists chimed in, with Bronson being one of the many who took offense. He later considered changing his tune.

"Action Bronson is trying to apologize to me by texting a mutual friend of ours and saying he's sorry and shouldn't have said anything to me," the "Chasing Time" rapper tweeted. "What a Coward. @ActionBronson if you tried to publicly shame me, you should publicly apologize... Action Bronson is trying to oppress me."

After noticing that the femcee outed him, Bronson replied to her with a few harsh words of his own: "@AZEALIABANKS I said nothing to you. You came at me. I reacted I apologized because I'm better than what u dragged me in to. That's it," tweeted the "Strictly 4 My Jeeps" rapper. "It went [too] far. Be safe and happy and much success in the new year." He then ended his series of tweets with the words, "grow up."

Moments after the spirited exchange, Bronson deleted all of the tweets from his page.
