Cannon denied rumors that his forthcoming LP includes a diss at his ex by tweeting that his relationship with the mother of his children will forever be “rooted in love.”
The diss story came from producer Mally Mall, who worked with Canon on the album. The Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star confirmed to TMZ that Cannon talks about Carey on the project and that there would be “a lot of controversy” surrounding the release.
Mall’s words couldn’t be further from the truth according to the actor/rapper. “I will never say anything negative about @MariahCarey,” he tweeted Monday (Dec. 29). “I’m always an open book but Personal matter are just that, ‘Personal.’ So please respect my family and respect the process.”
If that statement wasn’t clear enough, the 34-year-old broke it down once more: “In other words, all you vultures and bottom feeders searching for a story can go #ChokeYourself.”
Cannon and Carey split earlier this year after five years of marriage. They have two children together, three-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan.
