Report: Justin Bieber Working on Music With Michael Jackson’s Son

Pop star and Prince Jackson prepping a "major recording album."

Michael Jackson’s eldest son, Prince, and Justin Bieber are rumored to be working on a “major recording album” spearheaded by Floyd Mayweather Jr., the New York Post reports.

The boxer is responsible for getting them in the studio together, and has been acting as a surrogate big brother to both. However, the Jackson family is reportedly uneasy with Prince’s newfound friendship with the 20-year-old pop star, what with all the trouble Bieber has gotten into over the last year. They’re also worried about Mayweather’s influence on the teen.

Mayweather has been giving Prince “lots of advice” on women, and other subjects. According to a family source, “It’s not as if he [Prince] can turn to his family because they’ve got their own thing going on.” The insider adds that the Jackson family “never really had time” for Prince, and his two younger siblings, Paris and Blanket.

The King of Pop passed away in 2009, leaving his children in the custody of his mother, Katherine. Prince gets a $66,000 monthly allowance from his father’s $1 billion estate. The paper claims that he’s been dating a lot, blowing money on “expensive jewelry,” and living a party lifestyle hopping between California, Las Vegas, Arizona, the Caribbean and Hawaii.

“With all of these young girls and Bieber and Mayweather’s influence, we just hope that he doesn’t make a big mistake that he’ll have to pay for the rest of his life,” the source said.
