Last month DJ Mustard and YG got into a fight on Instagram, where there were a lot of threats tossed around. The longtime collaborators later squashed the drama on New Year's Eve, but now the producer is speaking out about it and letting the world know that everything is all good.
In a recent interview with MTV, DJ Mustard explained that it was a huge miscommunication and that he was really mad at the record label not paying him fast enough and that he really didn't want to be involved in any rumors connected to YG's personal life that were spreading like wildfire on the Internet.
"I got tired of people hittin' me in my dms and hittin' him in his dms and saying, 'Can you make YG talk?' And it's just like, why are you bothering him about something that's not true?" Mustard continued, "And then why are you bothering me because I'm really not even involved in this."
At the end of the day, the hip hop duo squashed everything like adults and moved forward like the brothers that they are, putting the misunderstanding behind them.
