Wiz Khalifa Responds to Comments About 'We Dem Boyz' Video

Rappers weighs in on reactions to his music video.

Wiz Khalifa responded to good and bad YouTube comments from his “We Dem Boyz” music video for Noisey’s “The People Vs.” series, where “true artists lower themselves to respond to comments made by the dregs of humanity,” according to the site.

Khalifa gave a reaction to everything from his basketball skills in the video, to the actual quality of the song itself, and comments about his personality. One person quipped that the Taylor Gang star seems like the type to “cry while listening to Drake,” to which he replied, “You obviously have some personal problems that you need to work out.”

The 27-year-old admitted that he reads YouTube comments “from time to time,” but he prefers the positive feedback. “I wish people would be more positive and show each other more respect and love," he said before explaining how to deal with hate.

“I pay attention to the love and when I see the negative stuff I kinda get a vision of exactly who that person is and what they look like, and immediately that opinion goes out of the window.”
