Singer’s entourage clashes with show promoters at State Of Emergency 2 concert in St. Louis.

An event promoting unity in the community turned into a full on melee backstage and singer August Alsina was caught in the middle of it all.

TMZ released video footage of the brawl which took place at the State of Emergency 2 concert in St. Louis on Saturday evening. Alsina and his entourage was seen exchanging words with the show’s promoter Loose Cannon Slim, who was reportedly upset with Alsina for showing up late to the event. As the argument escalated Slim took a swing at the “No Love” singer and a scuffle erupted. Alsina jumped into the middle of the tussle before being pulled away by his security team.

Rapper Fabolous, who was also on the bill to perform at the concert, watched the wild scene unfold outside his dressing room.

The event was being held to promote an anti-gun violence program that calls for people to "put down the pistol" and use conflict-resolution tactics instead.
