Metta World Peace Interviews Nicki Minaj

Former NBA All-Star bonds with the Barb over Queens, name changes, and more.

After Nicki Minaj mentioned him in "Trini Dem Girls," a track off of her latest album, The PinkPrint, Metta World Peace has been on cloud nine. Now, the basketball star has gone from gushing about his infamous mention to interviewing the rapper exclusively for his website.

When asked awkward questions like, "Have you ever been to my hood?" Minaj follows up with a series of blunt and borderline uninterested responses like a simple "yes" or "no." When asked if she has matching pajama outfits, the "Only" rapper said, "I just wing it, thongs and T-shirts."

For the next question, which may be the most random of the bunch, Metta received the most detailed response of the segment from the Queens rapper. When asked what her top five lipstick colors are, the rapper said, "I go back and forth between nude and pink and sometimes a deep red," she said. "Those are the only three I'm rocking with right now."

Elsewhere in the interview, Metta asked Minaj what her top five countries to perform in are, to which she mentions her home country of Trinidad. They also discussed what Minaj thought of him changing his name to Metta Minaj and whether she considers Queens the "Mecca of hip hop."
