One of America’s national song treasures is getting a royal makeover. Actress and singer Keke Palmer, who recently made history by becoming the first African-American and youngest to play Cinderella on Broadway, is confirmed to sing the "The Star Spangled Banner" at the 2015 All-Star Weekend Celebrity Game.
The Sprint-sponsored hoopfest airs on ESPN Friday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. ET from Madison Square Garden. The 64th NBA All-Star game will be held there that Sunday at 8:30 p.m with Ariana Grande slated for a halftime performance. For ticketless baller fans, the main event broadcasts live on TNT.
As for the remainder of Palmer's 2015, she is set to star in Ryan Murphy’s new comedy horror series, Scream Queens, and she's recording new music scheduled to drop in the fall.
