Authorities refute reports that actor Cle "Boan" Sloan and another man pointed guns at Knight before he allegedly committed murder, the site says.
Sources close to Knight claim a surveillance camera from Tam’s Burgers, where the fatal hit-and-run occurred, shows the men pulling guns. Law enforcement insiders say the video doesn’t show anyone with weapons.
Prosecutors are building their case around the surveillance video.
Knight contends that he feared for his life before peeling out of the Compton parking lot accidentally hitting Terry Carter and Sloan. Carter was killed, while Sloan sustained non-life threatening injuries. An eyewitness claims Knight ran over the men twice and then fled.
It’s rumored that he was an uninvited guest that day in Compton, and may have been looking for a confrontation. Knight had stopped by the set of a commercial for the upcoming NWA flick, Straight Outta Compton, because he was upset over his depiction in the biopic. It's unclear if he planned to confront Dr. Dre, who was on set.
Besides the murder, attempted murder, and hit-and-run charges, the former CEO of Death Row Records has another legal issue to worry about. He’s due to be arraigned on a felony next week, stemming from a previous arrest alongside Katt Williams.
