Here we go again. Azealia Banks, notorious for starting fires on Twitter, has made Erykah Badu the latest target of her 140-character missives. But, to be fair, it seems that Badu started it.
It all began when a fan asked Badu if she listens to Banks's music. "Tried," was Badu's terse reply. It's hard to deny the shade, so it was only a matter of time before the Harlem rapper chimed in on the comment.
"Lol, what's the shade?," she wrote, before answering her own question: "...Jealousy."
She didn't stop there, of course. Moments later, Banks tweeted, "When artists grow old and begin to recognize their own mortality they throw shade at younger spirits. We see it happen ALL the time."
The rant continued, "Whether or not you like me...You are WATCHING, and that's what's most important."
Badu finally responded with a fire extinguisher. "Well s**t I did try. Maybe you're right.. I'm just to old to get it. You cool tho?"
Thankfully, that put an end to the tirade. "I'm cool, I was just trying to make sure you were cool...," Banks concluded.
Azealia's twitter beefs, they go on and on...and on and on.
