Jodeci Readies New Album: The Past, The Present, The Future
Prepping the release of their first studio collection since 1995's The Show, The After Party, The Hotel, Jodeci continues the great golden-era renaissance. (See also, Missy Elliott at the Super Bowl, OutKast's 40 date tour, Nas's Time Is Illmatic documentary, for example.)
The R&B group announced this week a spring drop date for their reunion album, The Past, The Present, The Future, complete with a track list that features production by Timbaland, and guest spots from B.o.B and newcomer Liana Banks.
Hype Williams teamed up with the quartet for the announcement trailer (dropping Wednesday, Feb. 25). The video clip was filmed in Aspen, Colo.
"Y'all been waiting for too long!" Jodeci wrote via Twitter. Banks and her timeline agrees. It's flooded with congratulations and announcement retweets.
The Past, The Present, The Future is expected March 31, and is available for pre-order on iTunes now.
