Bobby Brown Postpones Australian Tour
Bobby Brown's spring concerts featuring Naughty By Nature's Treach and Kay-Gee are delayed until later in the season.
The singer will be "with his family," revealed Ticketek, an Australia-based event company.
The announcement comes amid misguided criticism about Brown's appearance at the 2015 BET Honors, which aired Monday (Feb. 23). The show was pre-taped about a week before his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, was found unconscious in a bathtub. However, many questioned why the "My Perogative" singer would be there (to present Usher with the Musical Arts Award) rather than by her side.
Bobbi Kristina, nearly a month after she was first discovered, is still in a coma. Brown has continued to ask for prayers and privacy.
The Australia tour dates were arranged by Abstract Entertainment as a follow up to his successful jaunt down under in 2007. The R&B/hip hop trio were scheduled to take the stage in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne next month.
Tickets for two dates, May 28 and May 29, are now available.
